Peer-to-Poll Election Podcast
The Challenge
Democracy has always been dear to Jay, as it should be to everyone who enjoys some form of it, be it full or flawed, across about 45% of humans. The other 55% couldn’t vote if they wanted to. Hungary has slipped into a hybrid authoritarian government under a strong man who’s become a mascot for MAGA. Yet even in the last weeks of the election some remain undecided.
The Project Goal
Jay wanted to create a “crowd sourced” podcast using an automated system online to connect undecided voters with Harris supporters in their own words.
The Project Execution
Jay created a mobile-first format for the podcast, then built a web site for it with a video recording system integrated into the podcast site.
The Project Results
Voter engagement was increased, dialogue inspired, consensus reached, and democracy saved!
